First Place winners for the International Competition, which involved drafting an overall project for the recovery, restoration, and repurposing of the former prison complex to return the property to a predominantly cultural and symbolic function, with the following priority objectives: the integrated enhancement of Santo Stefano Island with the nearby Ventotene Island and the definition of an “inclusive” project for the local/territorial community.
